Biography

Hailing from Houston TX, independent Hip-Hop/Pop artist OneZeno breaks the boundaries of standard genre-specific music creation. Since his first release in 2018, 19-year-old Zeno has proven his ability to grow, learn, and adapt to modern sounds having two major released projects that are almost polar opposites in terms of their style and vibe. Not only does he vocally perform his records, but Zeno also takes the lead in each track's beat and sound production. His first major release, "Don't Fall Asleep" released in 2019, is a 15 track tape containing vibes similar to Juice WRLD & Lil Uzi Vert. Throughout the album, Zeno maintains and exaggerates a very self-conscious outlook on life, emphasizing his personal fear of change. In 2020, he later released DFA's sequel, "Don't Wake Up", which took a massive step up in terms of production quality, containing song delivery inspired by Travis Scott & The Weeknd. This project describes all the massive changes occurring in Zeno's personal life, specifically those that aren't virtues. He emphasizes his character's evolution from one who was trying to hold on (in DFA), to one who completely let go. The tape is more upbeat showing that this change may be beneficial to his emotion, but also drives in dark psychedelic styles, emphasizing its dangerous effects.
