Biography

Emily Cole is a Singer-Songwriter born & raised all over the globe but claims Detroit, Michigan as her hometown. After years of volunteer work she decided to plant roots in South Carolina. Emily draws her inspiration for songwriting and melodies from artists such as Sleeping At Last, Matt Corby, Dermot Kennedy, Kevin Garrett, etc. 
 In May of 2013 Emily released her first EP "Chasing Fireflies" at 17 years old. The week of release her EP ranked #4 on the Christian/Gospel charts for 3 days. She was stunned to see the impact/reach her music had being an unknown independent artist. 
 Emily creates music with two thoughts in mind, her hopes are that through her music people would feel seen & known. Emily believes that music is like a conversation between close friends and enjoys creating sounds that invite listeners into her world. Her heart is to help people feel a little less alone while listening to her melodies and lyrics.
