Biography

Described as “three-minute scenes that weave together indie pop, classical art song, Broadway musicals” (Hartford Courant) the music of Zanders contains honest lyrics, colorful harmonies, and varying forms. Since the CT/NYC-based group’s release of their third and most recent album, Concentration Sixty-Four (2020) on Funnybone Records, Zanders has evolved into a sincerely theatrical four-piece band featuring Nick Charlton (drums), Kevin O’Donnell (bass), John Rule III (guitar), and Alex Saraceno (piano, lead vocals).
