Biography
When Neesin “Y.C.” Williams and Craig “Blak P.” Kelley met each other in highschool on the freshmen basketball team, they knew instantly that they shared similar points of view. Both raised in broken homes in South Los Angeles, their love of music stemmed from their desire to escape their harsh realities. Y.C. and Blak P used music as a vacation from their troubled lives— prompting them to coin their music, ‘Vacay Music’, for it's laid back style yet entertaining sound. In an effort to reinvent themselves and to show the growth as musicians, Neesin & Craig made YrF a band with; female drummer Aisha Gaillard, Ayron Davis on guitar & DJ Nick on the 1’s & 2’s , self taught themselves how to play the piano and produced or coproduced almost every track. “We want people to look at us as ARTISTS, not just rappers. We write, produce, act, paint etc...” (for more, please visit our website) yrfmuzik.com<br>
