Biography

Formed in the bedroom of Sebastian Morado back in 2016, Warpten began as a form of catharsis, expressing sentiments ranging from the existential struggle of waking up in the morning to the daily struggle of deciding what to eat for dinner. This lead to the release of their first EP titled "racing". Originally influenced by pop-punk and alternative rock bands such as Green Day, Weezer, and Joyce Manor; Warpten sought to move its angst out of the bedroom and into the stage. Once invited to perform, Miggu Delos Santos, Daine Daling, and Andrew Miranda were recruited to play guitar, bass, and drums respectively. This line-up would continue until the end of 2017. Warpten’s current sound continually shape shifts from pop-punk, emo, garage rock, all the way to shoegaze. The band released their debut LP, “I’m Conscious”, on January 24, 2020. Warpten is now Sebastian Morado, Miggu Delos Santos, Jom Grana, and Edzcel Neria.
