Biography
Formed in 2004 by Texas-raised Ben Dale and Jesse Anderegg, the Southern California-based duo started recording songs with producer Stuart Brawley and engineer Joe Corcoran. During the sessions for their first album On The Run, it was clear that Corcoran's guitar work was far superior to the session musicians, and he became permanently involved in the project as a performer, engineer, mixer, and producer. Though the drum work for On the Run was performed by Jamie Wollam, the band added Christopher Allis soon after it's release. In 2014 the band released Eighteen Wheels - Live in Orange County. Soon after the release of their second album, the band added a second guitar with solo artist Joel Karahadian. This changed the band's sound dramatically away from their trademark heavy-hillbilly sound to a more country-rock feel that can be heard emerging in the band's 3rd album - Rebel Soul; released in 2016. After the release of the album, Allis and Anderegg left the project. The band quickly added drummer Joey Ponchetti on drums, and songwriting responsibilities with Dale shifted to Karahadian. The two quickly created the band's strongest songs to date and released them on their 4th album - One Horse Town in 2018. Soon after the release, Dale/Corcoran/Karahadian/Ponchetti were back in the studio to record Go Away, a single that the band will simul-release with their first music video in January 2020 in anticipation of their 5th album - Unhinged.
