Biography

MONFLAME is creative pseudo reminiscence by two musicians, an alternative reality by Alex Pavlov and Ardentis, as if they didn’t play metal music (Stardown) but rather lived and created music in the 80s. Their music is a cocktail of romantic images taking us back to the culture of the 80s, arcades, synth-pop (Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, A-ha) and time travel movies, influenced by alternative bands (Linkin Park, Korn, Deftones) and the desire to keep the inside teenager while living in this rapidly changing modern world. MONFLAME is slight nostalgia for the time and places where you’ve never been or lived, it’s a journey to another past, a fantasy which becomes real when you listen to their music.
