Biography

Munstur is a project about following curiosity, discovering and seeking new ways of using things, mediums and technology. It's an artist duo from Reykjavík, comprising Kristinn Arnar Sigurðsson (krassasig) and Atli Arnarsson. They are a multimedia duo, making alternative indie music but also doing videos, performances, and installations. The name Munstur is Icelandic and means ‘pattern’, representing a certain way of thinking about music. 
 With their current project, they are exploring repetition and experimenting with the links between machine thinking, human thinking and the borders between. Their debut album MMMM is fresh out of the oven, released in Jan 2019. Contains the singles Doesn't Really Matter, Gotta Get In Love & Sublime
