Biography

Born in Toronto, Ontario and raised primarily in Memphis, Tennessee, Raemi is singer/songwriter and storyteller who creates music for herself and for the masses who can connect to the themes of overcoming the everyday obstacles of navigating everyday life. From the topic of love, to the journeys of finding oneself, Raemi touches on those aspects of life that everyone can relate to. Her sound is charismatic and soft, but also versatile and thought provoking as she draws her biggest influences from artists such as Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, H.E.R, Kehlani, and more. With an authentic tone and free-spirited melodies, Raemi strives to produce a voice for those who feel as if it’s hard to utilize or have their own. For the ones who only pour their hearts into the pages of their journals, she channels her innermost thoughts and feelings into the most poetic compositions.
