Buddy Wynkoop is a four-piece art punk group based out of Portland, Oregon. Born of pandemic isolation and existentialism, Buddy Wynkoop combines the sounds of post-punk, new wave, shoegaze, and indie rock to create a sonic cacophony that is uniquely their own. Breaking into the scene with debut EP At The Speed of Conversation, Buddy Wynkoop displayed their penchant for esoteric lyricism and their appreciation of a wide range of inspirations. Similarly, their second EP …You Lose Some furthered this sound. Their latest singles, “Serotonin” and “Relatable”, can only be seen as a foreshadowing of what’s to come from their upcoming full length album.
