Biography
On the 8th of October 2022, the album ‘Sprawlers’ will celebrate its 10th anniversary. At the time of release rave reviews were given. We’re going to release a special edition of the album with many extra’s and remastered. On the 24th of September the ‘Like A Wolf EP’ is released. Remastered and many different versions made when the song went over the world after a South Korean remix by Ingo Wang. Off you go! Born in 1979, worker in song since the 90’s, here’s a multi coloured musician, songwriter and producer moving swiftly between writing, arranging, producing or performing music used in Netflix series, Apple commercial, HBO series, theatres, commercials and Buddhist retreat centres. Releasing solo albums ‘all is there’, ‘sprawlers’, ‘what lovers do’ and a series of singles. Producing indie chamber music by LAVALU, arranging for Dutch music theatre Het Pauperparadijs, co-writing blue eyed country soul rock ‘n’ roll with Beans & Fatback, writing and producing cinematic crooner roll for Alakazam, collaborating into Americana with Frans van Deursen or playing and singing his latest good old fashioned love songs by himself, there’s nothing holding Gerhardt back on his quest to that one golden melody.
