teddie is an indie pop artist from Newcastle Australia. File teddie's dreamy bedroom pop jams alonside Benee and Clairo. As an in-demand saxophonist, Riordan has toured with artist such as imbi (fka imbi the girl) and Odette, and has been making a name for herself on the local and national circuit since. In 2020, Riordan’s solo project teddie was born when she teamed up with fellow Newcastle artist Campbell Burns from Vacations for her debut single “call me”. The single was released last year to praise from the Pilerats, NME and many of the triple j and triple j unearthed team including Dave Ruby-Howe, Abby Butler, Declan Burn and more. This also caught the attention of Mirror Records, who went on to sign teddie in 2021. “lightning mcqueen” is the first single from a forth coming EP produced by Campbell Burns and will be released in on 2022.
