Biography

Stillblue is a five-piece band emulsifying indie-rock, folk, and alt-country with lyrics meditating on love, loss, and getting older in the perspiring humidity of Miami, Florida. Composed of Daniel Estrada (lap-steel/keys), Diego Gamez (drums), Yamil Granda (bass), Enrique Rosell (vocals/guitar), and Sofia Soriano (vocals/guitar), the group found each other in the local music scene while playing in different bands. They share a love for melancholic, cathartic melodies, and the need to make music as honestly as possible. Their debut EP Flora gathered local and national support. In January 2023 the band embarked on their first tour, the Come Home Slow Tour. They are releasing their next single in April 2023, with a bolder and louder sound. “If Rosell sounds like a creek whispering somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, Soriano is a fern that sits along the bank.” - Matthew Messa, Miami New Times “I am absolutely in awe at the way it [lyrics] blends in with the instrumental to destroy my emotions.” - Andrew Gardner on Stick n Poke, Glasse Factory “Stillblue creates an atmosphere full of stories.” -Lefuturewave “Bluets also reminds us that the present is the most potent form of magic” - Heddy Edwards, The Wild Honey Pie Photo by Jairo Enamorado
