Shaila Prospere is a UK singer songwriter with 3 Albums & more jammed packed with cool unforgettable songs! Much loved by the Global Soul & R&B Music fraternity, with a fast growing fanbase. Influences include the Motown & Philly era inspired by legends Dionne Warwick, Patti Labelle, Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Luther, Whitney Houston & Anita Baker, her music career began as lead in a band in her teens, gigging throughout the UK, later joining an R&B girl group. Harnessing her vocal and writing style, she distinguished herself from her peers with her melodic catchy song writing teamed with relatable story telling. Prolific with her craft, hence her debut album “In My Shoes” being received with critical acclaim on the UK Soul & R&B scene. A collection of songs, littered with haunting melodies, cleverly woven lyrics about love and life, prompting sold out nights at the London Jazz Café Camden, quickly establishing itself as a classic, with great songs and solid production by The Full Crew production. Still featured on radio shows today. 'Back To Life' was her highly anticipated 2nd album, not least due to her long hiatus between this and her debut album.
