    Biography

    LAIHO started out much like a one-person project back in 2018 when Dorka Lajhó singer-songwriter decided to put her creativity and most personal stories into songs. Ones, that she’d record between four walls with much attention to detail, bringing her own sound to life. In 2019, she partnered up with band members István Tóth, Marcell Gyányi and Ladislav Csízi, making indie sound sound much more than it really is, compiling with pop-rock elements, enriched with a bit of folk. Evolve, the bands first EP was released in early 2020 and gave LAIHO the opportunity to perform on several stages of the alternative music scene in Hungary such as Központ, Pontoon, Turbina and Fekete Zaj Festival the following year. In 2021, they started writing their first long-play which they recorded with well-acclaimed producer Dániel Sándor and mixed with internationally known music producer Marc Urselli, who’s responsible for names such as U2, Nick Cave, Foo Fighters.
