Héctor Oaks is a renowned vinyl-only techno DJ, producer and label head of the record labels KAOS and OAKS. He is known for his exceptional mixing skills and unique style. Héctor Oaks has been behind the turntables for half of his life, gaining his first credits in the Madrid underground scene, after relocating to Berlin, where he kick-started his career. Héctor Oaks established himself as one of Europe’s most wanted techno weapons, combining the contemporary with hand-picked tracks from the history of rave culture. His selection thrives on his passion for digging in record shops around the world. His outstanding empathy and intuition for the sounds that make a crowd vibrate have been honed by constant practice and dedication to music. He has become a staple of the international techno scene, touring around the world and appearing in the lineups of some of the most well-known festivals, including, Awakenings, Dekmantel, EDC Mexico, Monegros, Sonar, Sziget, Time Warp and Tomorrowland.
