Biography
Damion Darrel Warren (born 21 September 1980), best known as Teacha Dee, is a Jamaican reggae singer and former educator. He is best known for his hit singles “Smoke and Fly”, “Jah Jah Is Calling” and “Rastafari Way” which was on the soundtrack of the James Bond "Movie No Time To Die". He started his career as a singer while fully employed with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Culture in Jamaica. After much success in the music industry, Teacha Dee chose to resign his post and migrated to Europe. Teacha Dee was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica, his stage name was derived from the Jamaican creole for “teacher” and a shortening of his childhood nickname “Deemus”.
