Biography
We are Cross Wires. An East London based four piece consisting of Jonathan Chapman (vocals) Peter Muller (guitar/vocals) Ian Clarke (drums) and Matt Lazard who recently replaced founding member Pete Letch on bass. Our debut full length album ‘A Life Extinct’ was released by Culture War Records on Friday 1st November. The tracks ‘Distraction Technique’ ‘Death Of The Human Fly’ and ‘State Funeral’ have been played on Radio X (John Kennedy) BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq/Tom Robinson) BBC Introducing London (Jess Iszatt) and KCRW (American music legend Henry Rollins) the album featured in many best of 2019 end of year lists including Turn Up The Volume, Music Is My Radar and Sounds Good. ‘A Life Extinct’ was recorded at Kluster Rooms in Limehouse, East London and produced by Rory Attwell (The Vaccines, Traams, Telegram, Palma Violets, The Goa Express) The albums release has lead to appearances at major music festival such as Tramlines, Shiiine On and Camden Rocks.
