Biography

Helena (Sweden) wrote several albums as a solo-artist and in the band Sandy Mouche. Her songwriting is bold, curious and extravagant. She always feels she’s a little bit too much, like there is a shimmering explosion inside. It comes out in the shape of music. Her voice is heard on hits all over the world with Arash feat Helena and Mono Mind, and on tours and recordings with her long-time band mate Per Gessle.
 She composed and produced the soundtrack for ”Prince of dreams” by Jessica Nettelbladt. It was the opening movie for World Pride 2021 and was chosen to participate at international film festivals during the same year. 
 During 2021, Helena produced and recorded a cover, John Lennon’s Imagine. This led to a collaboration with London based frtyfve and more covers were produced by Helena and instantly released. Her sound here is dreamy, warm and minimalistic. 
 Her latest full length was released in 2019 on Helena’s label,
”Beauty Love Anything” The band recorded live in Aerosol Grey Machine in Vallarum, Sweden for a few days with both American and Swedish musicians. Inspired by Helena’s compositions, demos and guidance the musicians arranged and then instantly recorded a version.
