The release of The VANNS’ - Jimmy Vann (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Cameron Little (lead guitar, vocals, keys), Tom Switlek (bass, backing vocals) and Andrew “Banjo” Banovich (drums, vocals) - debut album Through The Walls in 2019 marked an arrival of something fresh and new in Australian music. It scored The VANNS a lucrative triple j Feature Album placement, as well as the delivery of an impactful Like A Version cover of Bon Iver’s ‘Hey Ma’, which has over 5 million streams alone. Supporting artists such as The Kooks, The Wombats, and Catfish & The Bottlemen on some of the largest stages of their career; taking their music international in 2022 to The Great Escape in the UK, and enjoying sold out headline shows at venues like Sydney’s Metro Theatre and The Forum in Melbourne — the latter of which was recorded for triple j’s Live At The Wireless series, The VANNS have proven that their drive has not waned or diminished. Refusing to rest on their laurels of success to date, The VANNS’ focus is on their next chapter — their second album, Last Of Your Kind.
