Brainpower (Gertjan Mulder) is a pioneering bilingual Hip Hop artist, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur from Amsterdam, who has sold well over a million records as an artist/songwriter. He was the first Hip Hop Artist to win the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Dutch Act. 
 Having released 9 studio albums, 4 EPs, and 96 singles including chart-topping hits in both Holland & Belgium, receiving more than 50 awards and gold & platinum plaques throughout his career, Brainpower is an established recording artist in a league of his own. Over the years, he has shared the bill with artists like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Black Eyed Peas, & Run DMC. Having played over 4000 shows he is a seasoned performer. His single ‘All The Same’ made it to the #4 spot on the National Rapnetwork Record Breakers chart in the US and has even picked up a Global Peace Song Award in 2018. 
Brainpower is the first ever Hip Hop artist who performed in The Passion 2018, a Live Show on National TV filmed in Amsterdam having 4 million viewers. Later that year, he performed at the Ziggodome with Chaka Khan. His song ‘Animal Sauvage’ was used in the global number 1 blockbuster The Equalizer 2 starring Denzel Washington. Having inspired multiple generations of artists in Holland, Belgium and the Dutch Caribbean, he remains one of the most prolific and essential artists in the Benelux. After releasing his 9th studio album ‘Barlito’s Way’ in ‘21, he continued to tour. He is currently working on new albums.
