Biography

KOSMOSS is a Post - Punk/Indie/Alternative Rock/Lo-Fi duo from Tbilisi, Georgia. The band is a project of Giorgi Khabazishvili (vocals, bass) and Nikoloz Karsanidze (guitar, instrumental) which was supposed to be a one summer album effort, however the project acquired notoriety in the Tbilisi underground scene with their debut album MTVARIS AVTOBANI This moderate success led them to their sophomore record FUTURA that was released on the day of the bands creation. The band is still active and plans on releasing more music in the future. KOSMOSS is a combination of many influences: the soul crushing honesty of @Daniel Johnston, emo catchiness of My Chemical Romance and The Smashing Pumpkins, the warm, indie sound of corn wave and the scene altering ingredients of their Georgian contemporaries SKAZZ as well as lots of nostalgic references of 90s and 00s pop culture. we are KOSMOSS. see you space cowboys…
