Biography

Through their ambient coos and pulsating melodies, NYC duo ASTR caught the eye of the industry and became the first signees to label 300 Entertainment. In 2014 the release of their debut EP, Varsity, named by SPIN as #3 Best Pop Album of the Year, was backed by a series of electrifying performances, earning them slots on highly touted festivals such as Governor’s Ball, Coachella, Ultra, VHI Save the Music, and SXSW as well as a performance on Carson Daly. As a precursor to their sophomore EP, Homecoming, the duo garnered the attention of legendary R&B producer “Dark Child” catapulting them into a successful 2015 North American Tour. After splitting in 2016, front woman, ZOE has been crafting a new project under the same name ASTR, with past member and producer of ASTR Adam Pallin.
