New York-based singer-songwriter Jak Lizard brings new life to old-school styles with his striking vocal range and a refined lyricism that conveys a wisdom beyond his 26 years. Jak incorporates live instrumentation into his music that demonstrates a multifaceted style, melding jazz, hip-hop, and soul influences which include D’Angelo, Amy Winehouse, Bob Dylan, and more. "I’m trying to be a support system for people and let them know that they're loved," Jak says. "I want to inject a little hope into the world." Jak jokes that he's a “Soul and R&B Mr. Rogers," attributed to his wholesome messages and memorable melodies.
