Biography

Prey For Nothing is a Melodic Technical Death Metal band from Israel. The band formed in 2006 and released their debut album, “Violence Divine”, in 2008 via Rusty Cage Records. The album was almost unanimously hailed a masterpiece and set the band on course for the following years. Since then, the band released 2 EPs and 2 more full-length studio albums. The second album, "Against All Good And Evil", was released in 2011 via Massacre Records, while "The Reasoning", their third album, was released by the band itself in 2014. The band is currently laying the final touches on their fourth studio album, titled "Kivshan". Over the years, Prey for Nothing performed on Israel’s biggest metal stages, acquiring a loyal local fanbase. It supported, among other bands, international acts making the trip to the Holy Land, such as Amorphis, Paradise Lost, Aborted, Fintroll, and most recently Annihilator, who made their Israeli debut in November 2019. "Prey" made their way on European soil one time so far, supporting the Swedes of Engel on their “Blood of Saints” European tour in 2012. Currently, plans are forged to do another European tour, as soon as the situation in the world allows for it to happen without restrictions.
