Born KIARA Sheree White, family has always played an important part in the life of this young Southern girl. Raised primarily by her Mother, KIARA grew up with three siblings. “My Mom raised four kids. I was in the middle, and it was pretty tough at times,” KIARA recalls. “We were constantly moving, and we changed schools a lot.” Music was the one area where KIARA could constantly escape to. Listening to some of her favorite artists like Tupac, Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Wayne and Megan the Stallion allowed her to think and dream big. “I listen to current music, but I listened to a lot of old school stuff, too. I can’t say that any one artist inspired me,” KIARA says, “I’ve got so many ideas of my own. I just had to pick up a pen and go with it. But watching those artists let me know that I can do this, too.”
