Biography

Kam Ata was founded in 2009 by A. Tolga Ayıklar. The debut album, ‘‘Tengri Teg’’ was released by A.K. Müzik in December of 2016. Inspired by post-punk and dark wave genres and combining Central Asian instruments and ethnic vocal techniques such as khoomei, sygyt and kargyraa with electro-acoustical elements, Kam Ata’s music reflects a dark and ritualistic journey.
