Biography

Olde Throne is a black metal outfit from Christchurch, New Zealand. The project is performed by sole member Harrison McKenzie and plants it's musical roots in 90's black metal nostalgia. Conceptually, Olde Throne focuses on the history of Celtic peoples, with the debut album "an Gorta Mór" focusing on the great famine of Ireland. Future releases will focus on Scotland as well as further exploring Irish history. Recommended for fans of Taake, Mork, Gorgoroth, Darkthrone, Trelldom and Cirith Gorgor.
