Biography
Bröselmaschine is one of the most influential and durable bands of the republic. The Band gave guest performances with Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, T. Rex, Hawkwind, Fairport Convention, Uriah Heep and many more; they have been on tour nearly all around the globe. In founding member Peter Bursch “the nation’s guitar teacher” is among their ranks. Peter Burschs “Gitarrenbuch” sold more than two million copies to date. Founded in 1968, Bröselmaschine presented their debut with the same title in 1971 and went on tour for a longer period. Then followed the albums “Peter Bursch und die Bröselmaschine” (1976), “I Feel Fine” (1978), “Graublau” (1985) and “Live” (2006). At the beginning of the new millennium awoke a new interest in the marathon rockers. “The ‘Rockpalast’ called. The editors wanted to produce a ‘Krautrock Special’, and we confirmed. They wanted us to revive our music of the 70’s. I rounded up the old members of the band. The magic was back again immediately”, raves Bursch. That was the initial spark for the reboot of Bröselmaschine. In 2017 "Indian Camel" was released followed by the multi CD package „It was 50 years ago“ and their last release „Elegy“ (2019). The Band is working on a new Album now, to be released in late 2022. The Band over the years became one of the best german live Acts playing on Festivals as well as in Clubs around Europe. The Band also is supported by famous musicians when on Tour.
