    Khruangbin is Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar and Donald “DJ” Johnson on drums. The globetrotting Texan trio’s sound is rooted in classic soul & RnB, informed by psychedelia, dub and music from around the world - all captured in widescreen and performed with impeccable style. With a catalog that includes three critically acclaimed studio albums as well as collaborations with Leon Bridges, Vieux Farke Touré and Paul McCartney, Khruangbin most recently announced a 2023 series of five live albums taken from shows recorded during their last two years of touring. The ambitious undertaking pays homage to the band’s ever-sharpening live show, with offerings from friends far and wide, celebrating the band’s improvisational prowess, iconic live show and eclectic guests including Kelly Doyle, Ruben Moreno, The Suffers, Robert Ellis, Nubya Garcia, Men I Trust and Toro y Moi. “We toured the world for over 18 months, when global restrictions just started to slowly lift through the long anticipated end of regulations,” says Khruangbin. “From our vantage point, to watch people come together through song and dance after a time of unified isolation was truly a spiritual experience. We wanted to find a way to hallmark this journey. It was and is truly a time to remember.”
