Biography
Dallas-born DJ and producer Kal Banx built and continues to govern the sound of modern hip- hop. In his early collaborations with Top Dawg Entertainment’s Jay Rock, Banx grew his sonic talents within the TDE family until breaking into the spotlight as a one-time opener for ScHoolboy Q’s _ tour. From there, Banx soared to the top of hip-hop artists’ radars. The feature performance in ScHoolboy Q’s tour landed Banx in the studio playing beats and eventually producing for J. Cole where he made his name on Dreamville’s Revenge of The Dreamers III album. Since his well- deserved debut on Dreamville’s album, Banx went on to produce for notable artists such as Isaiah Rashad, Reason, SiR, ScHoolboy Q, Wale, Baby Keem, Smino, Denzel Curry, Jorja Smith, JID, and more. His universally recognized talent and creativity drives sonic forces of hip-hop to a new day.
