Biography
Based throughout the East Coast, Christian alt-rock band My Epic was formed in 2004. Following the break-up of their former band Shaddai, members Aaron Stone, Jesse Stone, and Matt Hogan decided to regroup with the addition of Jeremiah Austin, eventually releasing an independent EP This Is Rescue in 2006. After signing with Dreamt Records, the band recorded their debut LP, I Am Undone, in 2008 followed by 2010's Yet. An acoustic EP called Broken Voice appeared in 2011. Around this time, a variety of personnel shifts took place with the final and current line-up of Aaron Stone (guitar & vocals), Tanner Morita (guitar), Jeremiah Austin (bass) & Jesse Stone (drums). In 2013, My Epic were picked up by Facedown Records, who issued the band's third LP Behold later that year. The album became the band's most successful effort to date, placing highly on the Christian and Heatseeker charts. Following Behold, the band announced a transition into releasing EPs annually. They returned in 2016 with Viscera EP and are following that with a dual EP release, Ultraviolet (March 30) & Violence (late fall), in 2018.
