Biography
Rowan are Dylan, Fionn & Kevin. The band’s harmoniously rich compositions are laden with melodies that bring the listener to a familiar place with a tasteful twist of their own nature. Their acute and lucid sound is a melange of indie with influences from most other genres. A melodic style reminiscent of Arcade Fire, The Strokes & Bombay Bicycle Club. Released in late 2020, Rowan’s debut EP No One Is Safe Here received critical acclaim. With EARMILK citing it as "One of the most touching EPs of the year". The band released their Sophomore EP 'Everybody Talks' in July 23rd. Featuring the title track Everybody Talks, Nothing’s Gonna Change (Tracy Clifford’s 2FM Track of the Week) & One Of These Days. Rowan released their debut album ‘Does It Make You Happy?’ May 6th. "Rowan are channeling a great deal of hype with their powerful live shows and punchy songwriting" -CLASH Magazine “The Real Deal" -Badly Drawn Boy "Finish Line gives hope to those who still search for solace and emotional purpose" -Come Here Floyd "Rowan bring the listener to a familiar place with a tasteful twist of their own nature" -Glide Magazine "Nothing's Gonna Change is one of my favourite Irish songs that I've heard all year.
