Biography

The one-man-project Feigur was started in 2007 by the French multi-instrumentist Adrien Tibi as an attempt to express his own interpretation of the transition phenomena between death and what is beyond, its effect on memory, emotions, and spirituality. Originally taking the shape of a raw, distorted, cold yet atmospheric Black Metal entity, Feigur progressively and naturally shifted toward experimental, ritualistic, naturalistic, and industrial electronic soundscapes. Released 10 years after the previous split-release “Feigur & Lustre” and mastered in Denmark by Malthe Fischer (Lust For Youth, Scandinavian Star), “III, Ascension” lands as the outcome of this progression, depicting the post-mortem journey around our world from the perspective of the soul in three movements - each of which represents the stages it must go through to resurrect; Pain, Mourning and Healing.
