Luna Kills is spittin' bittersweet anthems, pushing boundaries between genres with their combination of heavy riffs and catchy pop hooks. Mixing in some electronic elements in their own style, the band has been titled the most interesting upcoming band in the Finnish rock/metal scene with a unique sound of their own. The band's latest single super sick is a fierce and furious modern metal commentary on how the society wants to dictate how everyone should be, look and behave, and has gained notable radio attention and was added to several Spotify editorials. Its predecessor deep cuts was a radio favourite as it mashed in melancholy pop hooks together with brutal riffs and breakdowns and was selected amongst "best of January" by one of the biggest national radio channels, YleX. here for the drama was picked as one of the best rock songs of 2022 by the same channel, even gaining heavy once-a-day rotation. Luna Kills' album not to be bitter, but it helps (2021) also created a buzz around it. liar, liar was noted in different Spotify editorial playlists, and the band gained media attention with their international sound in their home country Finland, whilst honey trap was noted abroad by one of the biggest rock/metal online magazines, Loudwire. The album was described as an "otherworldly record with 9 diverse tracks, re-defining the genre of alternative rock" in the media. The band is currently preparing their third album, to be released in 2024.
