Biography

Search party are an indie rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Since their inception in 2013 Seán McD, Chris Anderson, Ryan Pendleton, Gareth Hill and Dee Malone have tried to combine driving rhythms with melodic riffs to achieve an energetic, electric sound. In 2016 they released their debut EP 'Life Is Art' at a sold out show in Voodoo Belfast and were chosen for the Oh Yeah Centre's prestigious 'Scratch My Progress' talent development programme. Since then they have played various concerts and festivals across Ireland and also supported 'A Plastic Rose' for their return to the stage at Spectrum Festival 2017. Throughout this period they have released their singles 'Uranium', 'I Stole The Plans For The Deathstar' & 'Amsterdam'. They released their debut full-length album 'Too Much Red Tape' in October 2019 and follow-up Indie-pop EP 'Liminality' in 2022. They are currently embarking on their Visceral Thoughts tour of the UK & Ireland with new music on the way.
