Biography

Martini Police is a psychedelic funk-rock project born in Brianza, Italy in 2018. The band takes its first steps with the EP The Basement Tapes (2020) and with its first show at the Festival dell’Editoria e della Musica Indipendente at LUMe in Milan. The quartet – Riccardo Maria Colombo (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Matteo Martini (vocals, bass), Lorenzo Villa (electric guitar) and Giovanni Colombo (drums) – has developed a strong identity made of international sounds and psych-rock attitude, which lives in the band's overwhelming live performances. 2022 is the year that consecrates Martini Police as one of the most interesting realities of the Italian underground scene: the release of Vibre Delivery Service EP is followed by a 30-date tour around Italy, thanks also to the support of important national realities such as Italia Music Lab. The band has often been included in highly relevant contexts (Color Fest, Santeria, Linecheck Festival) alongside international artists of the caliber of Nu Genea, The Notwist, The Amazons, Sean Nicholas Savage, Italia 90 and Vanarin. In April 2023, Martini Police ushered in a new chapter with the single Vibe Check, a quintessential example of the band's sound and energy.
