Debuted in 2016 with EP, Back Seat Galaxy, Espacio Dios received acclaim in the Alternative community with airplay on South African stations YFM, NWFM, MFK and online press: True Africa, Bubblegum Club and OkayAfrica. A 2017 collaboration with Australian DJ & producer Kilter on “Treasure” debuted on the Billboard charts and was playlisted. OkayAfrica named him as one of 25 South African Rappers Under 25 Killing the Game, and collaborations with US-based 2-time Grammy nominated Allan Kingdom, (featured on Kanye West’s “All Day”) followed, as well as Espacio Dios’ 2018 debut album Percussive Planet. “Uri Fire” from the album gained synchs for the movie “Luce” and Netflix series “Queen of the South.” Another collaboration with South African artist, Muzi, on “Good Vibes Only” has achieved the best 30 songs of 2019 via la Radio Nova in France (peak #16) while reaching #1 on South African national youth radio 5FM. The duo performed the track at the 25th annual South African Music Awards. March 2020 saw the release of Espacio Dios’ second album Son of Uri, a 13-track record heavily influenced by diversity of language with Setswana, Swahili and Zulu culture. The album depicts how both darkness and light can be positive and negative according to Espacio’s life experiences. In 2021 Espacio Dios released a 3-track EP, 'Panorama Route' on 08 October to much acclaim. November 2022 will see the teasing of the artist's 2nd studio album with a highly anticipated single.
