Biography
Glok is Andy Bell (born Cardiff, August 11, 1970). Based in London, Andy is guitarist in the band Ride. His first output as Glok was the 20-minute Krautrock epic Dissident, which was part of a series of tracks released by Universal offshoot Globe through 2016 and 2017. These tracks have been remastered by Keith Tenniswood (Two Lone Swordsmen) and, along with two previously unreleased tracks, make up the debut Glok album, Dissident, which is released by new heterogeneous cassette label Bytes on July 5. Glok's influences include Mr Fingers, Brian Eno, Neu!, Andrew Weatherall, William Basinski and the Phantasy label. Andy is currently working on new Glok music and also has remixed various artists under the Glok name including Ride, Froth and Flamingods.
