Biography

Lakeland-FL. based singer/songwriter Brett Blondell makes passionate and melodic, contemporary pop music. Born in Tampa, Florida in 1984, he played mostly sports but always secretly wanted to be in pop music band. During his high school years, Brett partner with fellow musician Jonny Diaz to form an acoustic-pop harmony duo traveling throughout the U.S. for various camps and youth conferences. Blondell was given an acoustic guitar his senior year of high school and taught himself to play and write music. Brett released his first series of songs ever written in 2009 on the Lifeline EP, shortly after his father passed away tragically in a car accident. Using that pain and loss as inspiration, Blondell began to pursue is passion for music. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with many amazing artist from Jonny Diaz to Shane and Shane, Shawn McDonald, to Bethany Dillon just to name a few. He loves the freedom in creating in music, to have a blank canvas and take an idea and see it blossom into something beautiful, real and full, that's what music is.
