Biography

Grace Tena is a Singer/ Songwriter who started off as 1/3 of 3YG- “3 young gifts” They instantly became YouTube sensations at a young age with song covers and harmony arrangements. Born into a family of singers, writers and musicians, Grace Tena naturally developed a strong musical inclination. She took inspiration from her father who is also a singer song/writer, known for his cultural music and guitar playing. She began singing at the age of 8, being raised in church and in the children’s choir. Grace learned to play the trumpet during her primary school years, sharpening her musicality with sheet music but she also realised she had a natural flare for learning to play by ear, strengthening her musically. Sold out to Christ, using her gift for the kingdom is at the top of her agenda as she believes that God has mandated her to share the honest realities of her journey through the faith, yet still ensuring that every listener is pointed to the truth of the Lord and his goodness and love, above all else. She is heavily influenced by Jonathan McReynolds, Elevation Worship, Tori Kelly, Jacob Collier and currently serves as a worship leader in her local church. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work on various musical projects with artists across the UK and share the stage with Christian/Gospel singer songwriters based in the UK and USA. As she journeys through life creating, writing and developing her sound, Grace is ready to take a bold step to her purpose.
