Biography
Hailing from the infamous London Town of Brixton, the rapper reflects on his hard life and journey to success despite many obstacles. Brixton has been infamous for gang culture and crime for decades and in his early years Ard Adz was considered one of the leading figures of the notorious Gas Gang. After his release from prison he turned to music gaining musical notoriety in the UK scene and quickly capturing the public attention including a small co-sign from Drake in a 2012 1xtra interview. In 2016 embarking on a solo career Ard Adz elevated the hype he received from his thought provoking single “Call Me Dirty” in which he has a conversation with God which sparked controversy. EP’s “Hard 2 Smile” and “No rain no flowers” were released the following year, despite numerous major label and distribution offers both releases were independent. Garnering millions of streams and sales independently Ard Adz returned in 2018 with his independent debut album Adam which charted in the Official Indie Album Breakers Chart with no notable features. In 2019 he followed up with his popular single Habibti which went viral attaining millions of views and streams. Ard Adz has painted himself in a new light, playing with sounds different to his unique rap style. Ard Adz is proving that you can gain success independently through hard work. Watch out for his highly anticipated 2020 UK tour and album “Miskeen” which is available NOW ~written by T B Noor
