One of African music’s most multifaceted artists, PATORANKING is many things to many people. An international reggae star whose anthems have resonated from Nigeria to Jamaica, his breakout singles (“Girlie O”), (“My Woman, My Everything”), (“Love You Die”) etc, have made him an icon. He’s extended his influence into North America through partnerships with EMPIRE and touring with the legendary Ms Lauryn Hill. Born Patrick Okorie in Ebute Metta, Lagos Nigeria, PATORANKING has gone on to win several awards including the MTV Africa song of the year, the Headies next rated and recently Forbes Africa’s 30 under 30 class for 2020 for his efforts in music and philanthropy. He released his first LP, God Over Everything, in 2016 which debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart. Also in 2016, PATORANKING joined the cast of reality TV series The Voice Nigeria as a judge, bringing him into the homes of millions in West Africa weekly. In 2017, PATORANKING appeared on Major Lazer’s “Particula” from the Know No Better project. In 2019, he released WILMER and the Album went on to chart at #5 on the Billboard Reggae Charts. Through all of his successes, PATORANKING has devoted himself to giving back.
