Biography

Marco Aiello aka Cienfuego is an Italian Reggae and Dub music producer, independent artist for his own Label: Cienfuego Music. His artistic creation focuses on a deep research for the right balance between the original Roots Reggae and the current influences of dub, giving to his productions a signature style made of a unique mix of analogical machines from the 70s and the latest sound technologies. In 2020, Cienfuego made his debut as a solo artist producing his first album, “Dub Expedition” (2020), published by the ''Bonnot Music Label'' in collaboration with the award-winning producer Walter “Bonnot” Buonanno and the Grammy nominated singer Kumar Bent. In the summer of 2020, ''Bonnot Music'' published ''Nuff A Dem'', an EP collecting different versions of the original track by Awa Fall, General Levy and Bonnot. Cienfuego proved his ability as a Dub Master side by side to another Italian Reggae Artist: Paolo Baldini. In March 2021 Cienfuego collaborated with the true legend of Dub Music: Scientist. Their EP, ''Scientist meets Cienfuego - Mary Jane inna Dub'' is a three version concept where Scientist engineered Mary Jane, the original track by Cienfuego and Kumar and what has been called an absolute masterpiece of contemporary Dub Music. In July 2021, Cienfuego worked with the Jamaican artist and singer Hempress Sativa, producing the music of the single ''Scheme'' which anticipates her upcoming album: Sophomore.
