Biography
Yung Innanet is an American rap artist who's primary focus is 'Nerdcore', a sub-genre of rap/hip hop. Yung Innanet has been making music for a long time, and officially began releasing as 'Yung Innanet' in Jan 2018. As of March 2021, he surpassed 1 Million plays across platforms like SoundCloud, Spotify, Youtube, Music, & others. More recently, the term, 'Hackcore', which was partially inspired by Yung Innanet's extreme attention to detail in his lyrics, has been used to describe various artists in this category. It's meant to be a play on words (pronounced hacker or hack0r). Additionally, it more accurately describes his songs, which frequently describe the criminal underground of computer hacking with extensive detail. Hackcore has exponentially gained a larger and larger following in recent years, with 2020 and 2021 showing an explosion of affiliated acts. When he's not producing and engineering his music, Yung Innanet is also the founder of a growing number of underground internet projects, most notably tcp.direct. tcp.direct is a collaborative effort who's goal is to "help interesting computer nerds do things they otherwise couldn't.". tcp.direct helps host other projects, like vx-underground (Founded by Smelly) and Mal-Wiki (Founded by Parzival), two projects which archive and study malware.
