Biography
PGF Nuk is a Chicago rapper whose lyrics focus on violent, unflinching street narratives. Following in the footsteps of drill rappers like Chief Keef and G Herbo, he began uploading videos of his songs in 2019 and later reached viral success with tracks like "It's Nuk" and "Waddup." His debut album, Switch Music, arrived in 2022, followed by the single "Blast Off." Born and raised in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood, Nuk got his nickname from his mother. PGF stands for Psycho Gang Family, which his crew started calling themselves in honor of a friend named Psycho who died. He had come in contact with rappers like Lil Durk, G Herbo, and Chief Keef when he was young, and became cousins with Polo G through marriage. He'd started rapping by the age of 17 and began posting videos to his video channel in 2019. He received more attention when "Waddup" appeared in 2021; a remix featuring Polo G was an even bigger success. His debut album, Switch Music, appeared in 2022, with EST Gee, G Herbo, and several PGF members among its guests. A standalone track, "Blast Off," arrived in 2023. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
