Biography
A rapper with roots in both Michigan and Kansas City, Missouri, SleazyWorld Go uses a detailed storytelling rhyme style and intricate, often witty bars to deliver tales of domination and debauchery in the streets. His 2021 single "Sleazy Flow" was a viral hit, breaking through in a big enough way to warrant a remix featuring multi-platinum superstar Lil Baby. This success took the rapper from issuing self-released albums like 2021's Sleazy to working with Universal Music Group-affiliated label Island Records for 2022's Where the Shooters Be. SleazyWorld Go grew up in West Michigan but eventually relocated to Kansas City, Missouri. He got started rapping as part of the SleazyWorld collective. His first solo songs appeared in 2020, and he quickly issued mixtapes like Big Sleaz and The Sleazy Way that same year. The full-length project Sleazy appeared in September 2021, but it was a month later, when SleazyWorld Go released his single "Sleazy Flow," that he really started gaining momentum. The track was quickly streamed tens of millions of times, and the newfound attention led to a record deal with Island. In May 2022, the song got a second life with a remix featuring Lil Baby, and SleazyWorld Go continued issuing new tracks including the Offset-assisted "Step 1" and "Glitches" featuring G Herbo. All of these appeared on his 2022 album, Where the Shooters Be. SleazyWorld's first outing of 2023 was the solo track "Robber and Villains." ~ TiVo Staff
