Biography

Lean Chihiro is a 22-year old singer-songwriter from Paris. Her activities oscillate among music, visual arts, and modeling. In 2017, she began to attract a larger audience with the track Summer Hunter which will be her first release on streaming platforms. Lean will continue to draw attention through her modeling activities and her freestyle Règlement Space #7, released in 2018 on the YouTube channel «Le Règlement», which currently has nearly 1.5M streams on Spotify. Often described as a UFO in the music scene, multiple influences have shaped her identity : passionate about music from an early age, she became familiar with different genres, but particularly hip-hop, soul and rock. Around the age of 6, she developed a passion for Japanese culture which immediately became a major source of inspiration for her. In August 2020, Teenage Humanoid, an 8-track EP released on french label Chez Ace, in which Lean retraces her journey to adulthood, halfway between the teenage years she is slowly leaving behind and the woman she aspires to be. In 2021, she released Keep It Up, a single made for Tropico’s True Colors campaign, in which she appeared. This year, Lean Chihiro announces «22», her first self-produced project to be released under the label «WEIRD MUSIC». Her adolescence and Teenage Humanoid are already far behind her. The artist shows herself under different aspects never before revealed. She opens up and explores new sounds sharing her worldview.
