Biography

Treehouse Kids, hailing all the way from Barcelona, Spain, formed in mid 2015 when Roger Mata (bass) and Pau Velasco (guitars), two childhood friends, linked up with Velasco’s classmate, Àlex Brull (drums) and decided to combine their passion for pop punk with their musical talent to create an art of their own. In September of that year Brull and Velasco then met Andrew Schwartz (vocals) in class while he was on foreign exchange from Boston, and from there the band was born. After releasing their first EP, “A Message to Your Past Self When You Believed in Different Things” followed by the single, “Thin Lights” the group developed their own sound, and then enjoyed a short tour of Spain in 2017 as openers for Northbound, As It Is, and State Champs. Now, more than 2 years later, the Barcelona boys are back with a fuller, more mature sound, aided by their collaborations with Northbound, Sean Duddy of Woes, and Nik Bruzzese of Man Overboard.
