Biography

Since forming in 2014 Southampton's Deference have been working tirelessly to get their distinct brand of metal out to the masses. With extensive UK and European touring experiece, Deference have had he opportunity to share the stage with bands as diverse as The Hell, Rolo Tomassi, Blessthefall and Miss May I among many others. Beginning as a metalcore band with technical elements and huge choruses, their focus has slowly shifted through releases to heavier songs and raw, punchy aggression, culminating with the release of the heavy hitting latest single Body Count. Deference are most at home on the stage and can't wait to be back playing shows for fans in 2021!
